My point is, please don't ask me to be quiet or patient in light of the fact my president has strained himself in tearing down institutions,  relations, and now freedoms-- the press; judiciary,  legislative branches, and attacked private citizens

I'm calm and optimistic enough.  But read that link,  this is what trump is running with...and absolutely against my best interests, and all of ours.

On the one hand, as a student of history, a phenomena as is trump is personally not bothersome to me.

It was bound to happen.

It's the idea that it's in my own time, and I'm really having trouble understanding how a 70 year old known public figure who has scant personal references to boast of or rally for him is so revered?

Next to nobody ever says anything worth while about the man, except those who are for the most part world's away.

Keeping that in mind while we know he is hiding his taxes, his relationship to russia, and his business tie ins.

All ethically questionable, poor judgement calls unless he is hiding something, and he is mostly promoting concepts that are insulting to professionals everywhere.

I mean, I like the side I'm on, but what's the appeal of over looking the red flags?
